Saint Ruth is in the Old Testament, the Book of Ruth. She was a Moabite woman who converted to Judaism with great faith, God's grace, love, and loyalty, and followed her mother-in-law Naomi. She is David's great-grandmother through her marriage to Boaz. By her generosity and steadfast loyalty that risked her livelihood, she gives us an example of embracing salvation in any circumstance. (Ruth 1:15-17, 2:7-11)
